Directions
Now onto the Inn itself. Picture this, you are driving North
on Route 5 and have just left Center Lovell Village... there is a break in the trees on
your left and you see a breathtaking view of the White Mountains. You look to your right
and perched like a jewel in a setting is a magnificent three-story country Inn complete
with a wrap-around screened porch, white with green shutters and topped off with a Mansard
roof complimenting the cupola at the top.
DIRECTIONS FROM THE BOSTON
AREA
Take Route 95 North (New England States). Exit at 2nd
Portsmouth, N.H. Exit. Take Route 4 (Spaulding Turnpike) to Route 16 to Conway, N.H. When
you arrive in Conway at the second traffic light stay in the right-hand lane. That will be
113. Continue straight on 113 to Fryeburg, ME. Go straight through Fryeburg, as you get to
the top end of the town on your right you will see what looks like a small brick college
campus (Fryeburg Academy). At that point the road splits. Take the left hand road, that is
Route 5 North. Continue on Route 5 coming into Lovell, ME. Route 5 bears slightly to the
left. Continue on Route 5 exactly 4.5 miles and we are on the right.
DIRECTIONS FROM PORTLAND
Take
Route 302 to Bridgton, ME. At the second traffic
light turn left. Go through town and up the
hill to the monument. Turn right at the monument,
continuing on Route 302. (Note you will see
a sign that says Lovell Route 93 DO NOT TAKE
THAT). Continue on Route 302 you will cross
over Moose Pond (it will be on both sides
of you). Just after the pond take the first
right, Knights Hill Road. Continue ALL the
way to the end to the stop sign. Turn left
at the Stop sign, go over little bridge at
intersection bear right, that is Route 5 North.
We are 4.5 Miles North of this intersection.
